ByramADVISORY GROUP Book a Teardown

The close teardown. Free. 45 minutes. Five a month.

One page about your own close. Free, in 45 minutes.

Bring the close you really run. We go through it with you, live. You leave with one written page about it. Not a demo. Not a sales call.

No access, no passwords, nothing installed. You share a screen and we talk.

Book it

Pick a time.

Pick a slot. You get a calendar invite right away. The form asks a few questions. They are the ones we use to prepare. Answer them well. That is most of why the session works.

Why it is freeEach one shows us a new way a close can break. That is worth the time.

Why only five a monthNot a sales trick. A calendar. One person runs them, live. Five is what fits next to the build work. When the month is full, the next slot is the month after.

Pick any length. Then ask for 45 minutes. That is the teardown. It is the only session we run.

Calendar not loading? Or would you rather write? Email Owen and he will send times back.

01What happens in the 45 minutes

You bring your close. We go through it, live.

It is 45 minutes on the close you really run. Not a demo. Not a sales call. Here is how it goes.

No access for the teardownWe do not ask for a login for the teardown. At this stage, do not give one to anyone who asks.

  1. 1

    Before

Have your close checklist open, in whatever form it really exists. A spreadsheet. A shared doc. One person’s memory, which counts too. Pick one set of books you know well enough to argue about.

  2. 2

    During

You share a screen. We go through the close step by step, on the books you picked. No access, no passwords, nothing installed.

  3. 3

    After

We write one page about what we saw and send it to you. It is yours whether or not anything else follows. No one has to buy a thing to see what we found.

02What you leave with

One page. About your close, not about us.

We write it after the session and send it to you. Three things. Each one is about what we really looked at.

Yours to keepKeep it, send it on, or hand it to whoever asked. You never have to buy a thing to see what we found.

Where the hours go.

Each step of your close, in order, with a time next to it. How much of that is a person keying it in again, checking it again, or waiting. Not a score against other firms. A map of your own month. Most teams have never seen their close written down like this.

Which books do not tie.

Where one number is worked out two ways, and the two ways do not agree. Between related companies. A subledger. A schedule kept outside the books. A group total fixed by hand each month. These turn into audit adjustments. Most are known. Few are written down.

The AI questions you cannot answer yet.

Someone will ask what AI touched the work, and who said yes to it. Your board. Your audit committee. Your insurer. Your client. We go through those questions. We mark the ones you have no answer to yet. Knowing which four you would fail is worth more than a score that says you are a three out of five.

03Who this is for

Bring the close you know best.

Three kinds of people book these. Each one brings a different close.

Fractional CFOs

You bring one client’s close. The one you argue with most.

What it does for you →

PE-backed groups

You close the books for firms a sponsor bought, or for a company a sponsor owns. Bring that close.

What it does for you →

Accounting firms and CAS

You close the books for many clients. Bring the one that takes the longest.

What it does for you →
04What happens after

Stop at any step.

If the page shows something worth going after, there is a next step. If it does not, you keep the page and we are done. No one follows up eleven times.

On priceThe Sprint and the Bootcamp have set prices. The build and the run are quoted for each firm. The build is for firms with 15 or more client sets of books. Below that, start with the Sprint or the Bootcamp.

Plus. Everything in Base. And 20 hours a month to build new features you ask for.

You keep the code. So you can leave any time.
